Year 3 - Spellings: Dictation (Unit 1)

This Dictation resource is a key part of our spelling programme (UK spellings), designed to reinforce and apply spelling skills in context. It complements other resources in the programme, such as “Dots and Dashes” for segmenting words, sight vocabulary recall, and spelling games. Through structured dictation exercises, students practise spelling rules, prefixes, suffixes, and sight words they’ve learned. This resource helps solidify their understanding and accuracy, supporting confident spelling across all areas of literacy. Consider acquiring the other parts of the programme to provide a comprehensive spelling education.
